Leah is a tender hearted woman who is often overlooked, unnoticed, and unappreciated within her marriage and even amongst readers today. Although unloved by her husband and having a strained relationship with her sister, Leah experiences the grace and mercy of God in her suffering. Leah serves as a testament to all women who feel unseen, and undervalued, reminding them that the Lord resists the proud but extends grace to the humble (James 4:6).

This holiday season, as we reflect on our blessings and the spirit of giving, we are excited to support The Village Foster Family Closet, an organization dedicated to helping foster children and families in need.

Our mission is to always promote the message of Jesus through compassionate service and support for those in need. We recognize that fostering children is a labor of love, so we would like to honor those who have committed their lives to the cause.

A B O U T U S

In my younger years, I never could have imagined wanting to pursue a life of ministry. That was, until I experienced God in such an unforgettable, loving, and tangible way that He forever changed my life. My call to serve in ministry stems from peers, close friends, and family who have been lost at a very intense level. To show Gods love, I want others to know no matter what they’ve done, no matter where they are, that they are loved right where they are at. Just like Jesus, without hesitation, welcomed me into His love with open arms and brought me home, my hope is to minister to those who are unable to enter a “physical” church building. To show others that we are the church and everywhere we go, the power of God is alongside.

As a Christian, I take my responsibility in fulfilling the Great Commission personal and with full conviction. To become more like Jesus means to walk, talk, and sit with those who are lost, just as he did. In order to fulfill what Christ has asked of those who love Him, I believe in the power given to me by God, through Jesus, that I can pull Heaven down into the most unlikely of places and to be the hands and feet of those who bring good news.
