"Behold, I make all things new"

Revelation 21:5 And the One sitting on the throne said, "Behold, I make all things new." And He says, "Write this, because these words are faithful and true."

Every year before the year ends I have received a word or scripture verse for the upcoming year from the Lord. This year as 2023 comes to an end I feel strongly that the Lord said to me “Behold, I am making all things new.” I thought to myself maybe this could just be me thinking of the new year but days later it has still been sitting within my spirit.

I believe that this year will be a year where we will see God shift many things in our lives. Some things may be painful to shift around but they are essential in order for the new things to come in. I feel strongly in my spirit that these new things will bring great joy and understanding to our lives. It will bring us into a deeper relationship and reverent awe for the Lord but we must first be willing to allow the new things to come to pass. May we choose to be obedient when the Lord says to let go of the old because we may hinder our own blessings.

The Lord is doing something new for the people who decide to follow him and live a life according to his purpose. Don’t miss out on the new things he has for you because you have chosen to live out of alignment with him. The Lord is calling his people into a deeper depth with him, he is calling his people to trust that his plans are better than ours. Let 2024 be the year of new beginnings in which we will all see our lives transformed.
