He speaks, we activate.

Exodus 7:1-2

1 Then the Lord said to Moses, “See, I have made you like God to Pharaoh, and your brother Aaron will be your prophet. 2 You are to say everything I command you, and your brother Aaron is to tell Pharaoh to let the Israelites go out of his country.

Today’s reflection:

· Do you know who you are?

· Do you know who God intended you to be?

· Do you know your purpose in the Kingdom of God?

In reading these verses in Exodus I felt the Holy Spirit drop these little nuggets in my spirit. Three different perspectives that are bound to change your entire mindset and help you walk in greater authority.

Perspective #1:

Verse 1 says: “I will make you like God”

Gen 1:27 “So God created mankind in his own image.”

· Again, do you know who you are in Christ?

· What are some attributes of God?

· What leads to an identity crisis?

· Do you have an identity crisis?

See the Israelites during this time did not know who they were (identity crisis), instead they were bound by their enemy. They had forgotten their purpose, and they had forgotten whose authority they walked in – as to why they cried out to the Lord to rescue them.

KNOW WHO YOU ARE AND WHOSE YOU ARE!!

Perspective #2:

Verse 1: “I have made you like God to Pharaoh.”

Same verse as perspective #1 but let’s go a little deeper. “I have made you like God to Pharoah.” God says I have given you authority over your enemies, I am making them your footstool. God gives us power over our adversary.

· Do you know this truth?

· Do you speak and declare this truth over your enemies, situations, and frustrations?

IF WE KNEW OUR AUTHORITY OUR PHAROAHS WOULD HAVE NO CHOICE BUT TO LET US GO!!

Again, do you know who you are in Christ?

Perspective #3:

Verse 1&2:

“1 Then the Lord said to Moses, “See, I have made you like God to Pharaoh, and your brother Aaron will be your prophet. 2 You are to say everything I command you, and your brother Aaron is to tell Pharaoh to let the Israelites go out of his country.”

Lastly, God uses Moses and Aaron to model what our relationship is supposed to look like with him. Moses is representing God in this verse and Aaron is representing the Lord’s prophet. Moses speaks to Aaron and Aaron declares it. All become witnesses to Gods glory even if they do not believe. This is the power in which we all walk in. When God speaks, we must be like Aaron and activate!

WHY?

When Moses and Aaron followed this model it not only set the Israelites free, but it also set the Egyptians (gentiles) free. So, we can only conclude that when we mimic this same approach not only will Christians be delivered from their Pharaohs but so will non-believers.

Don’t believe me? Take a closer look.

Exodus 12:38 (NIV)

38 Many other people went up with them, and also large droves of livestock, both flocks and herds.

Numbers 11:4 (NKJV)

4 Now the mixed multitude who were among them yielded to intense craving; so the children of Israel also wept again and said: “Who will give us meat to eat?

Deuteronomy 29:11

11 your little ones and your wives—also the stranger who is in your camp, from the one who cuts your wood to the one who draws your water

The Word says that a mixed multitude left the land of Egypt with the Israelites and even lived in their camp. With that being said, know your identity because your testimony not only helps the “chosen” but it calls for the unworthy, the lost, and the broken to be set free. Don’t give in to Pharoah and keep your mouth shut instead when He speaks, ACTIVATE!
